Meet Ms. Andrea

Ms. Andrea holds a BA from Ithaca College and a Master’s degree in Education. With experience in both classroom teaching and educational leadership, she brings a thoughtful blend of hands-on instruction and deep curriculum knowledge to her work with young learners.

Andrea began her teaching career in the Bronx, NY, before trading in her winter boots for flip-flops and relocating to Florida to be closer to family. As a reading specialist, she helps children build strong literacy skills in a supportive, engaging environment—where learning feels joyful and success feels possible.

Andrea is passionate about helping children grow into confident, capable readers—one skill (and one smile) at a time. She believes that when reading makes sense, children begin to see themselves as successful learners. Her goal is to help every child read fearlessly, think critically, and enjoy every page.

Outside of tutoring, Andrea is a competitive USA swimmer, a devoted family-time enthusiast, a travel lover, a dessert connoisseur, and a fan of live comedy!
